Partnering With Producers
I partnered with producers in Kintamani, Bali to help build and establish a new mill for centralized processing of coffee cherries harvested from various smallholders in the community.
Licensed Q Grader
In 2014 I obtained my Q Grader certification. This enables me to effectively communicate with roasters, baristas, farmers, etc regarding coffee production, flavor profiles, coffee preparation, etc.
Certified Level 1 Roaster
I am a member of both the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) as well as the Roaster’s Guild, a trade guild of the SCAA. I hold the guild’s level 1 roaster’s certificate.
SCA Station Instructor
I have completed the SCA’s Instructor Development Program (IDP) and have been station instructor for classes at the annual Roaster’s Guild Retreat.
